Motor Vikatan has uploaded a slew of images featuring the Mitsubishi Montero (internationally known as the Pajero) from a showroom unveil. Imported into the country via the CBU channel, the Montero makes a return with a price tag of INR 68,45,480 (Ex-showroom).
Discontinued for sale from 2014, the Montero returns in its facelifted guise, which borrows cues from Mitsubishi’s Dynamic Shield face, as well as featuring a new bumper design and a redesigned spare wheel housing. Otherwise, most of the exterior is largely identical to the previous Montero.
The Montero is loaded with features like auto high beam controller, daytime running LED strips, 18-inch alloy wheels, 3rd-row seats, Rockford music system, premium leather upholstery, power tilt and sliding sunroof, fully automatic air conditioning, touchscreen navigation system, steering mounted buttons and chrome interior door handles.
Under the hood is a 3.2L 16-valve four-cylinder turbodiesel engine tuned to produce 141 kW (189bhp) at 3,800 rpm and 441 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission and a Four-Wheel Drive system with a drive selector.
