Land Rover Discovery Vision concept's production version debuts on 28 September.

Land Rover has teased the 2017 Land Rover Discovery yet again ahead of its world premiere on 28 September. This time the all-new model is seen in camouflage drawn and coloured by kids.

The fifth-gen Land Rover Discovery was previewed by the Land Rover Discovery Vision concept in 2014.

While the exterior hasn't been a mystery since the Land Rover Discovery Vision concept's debut in 2014 and the flurry of spy media during the past couple of months, the camouflaged SUV seen in the teaser video and images gives the best look yet at the 2017 Land Rover Discovery. The interior was revealed in a spyshot last month.

The redesigned Land Rover Discovery set to premiere this month is the SUV's fifth generation model. It shares the company's PLA (Premium Lightweight Architecture) platform with the fourth generation Range Rover and the second generation Range Rover Sport, and should lose considerable weight due to that. The top-tier model in the Discovery sub-brand will be a three-row SUV with stepped roof for “stadium seating” for seven people.

The 2017 Land Rover Discovery will be offered with 2.0- and 3.0-litre petrol and diesel engine options. It will be manufactured alongside the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport at the Solihull plant in England, as well as in China, reportedly. Sales of the new generation Discovery in first markets will likely commence in early-2017.
