The TVS Akula 310 concept's production version is reported to be named TVS Apache RTR 300. It will be based on the same platform co-developed with BMW Motorrad, which currently underpins the BMW G310R. The Apache RTR 300 will be the company's first fully-faired motorcycle to enter series production.

The TVS Apache RTR 300 will sport a 313 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, also co-developed by TVS Motor and BMW Motorrad. In the BMW G310R, this engine produces 34 hp (25 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 21 lb.-ft. (28 Nm) of torque at 7,500 rpm. A 6-speed transmission is on duty to bring all that power to that wheel.

The TVS Apache RTR 300 won't have a carbon-fibre body unlike the concept. A tall windshield, upside-down front forks, monoshock rear suspension, Pirelli-sourced tyres, front and rear disc brakes with two-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and fully digital instrument panel are the expected highlights of the TVS Apache RTR 300. The company's new flagship motorcycle could be priced between INR 1.50-1.75 lakh.
