The Polo 'Bluemotion' is unlikely to launch in the Indian market.

It's unclear if the model imported for testing is the 1.2 TSI Bluemotion or the 1.0 TSI Bluemotion. It could be the latter variant that produces 75 PS of power. The model featured is fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Bluemotion technology integrates features such as start-stop system, change gear indicator and regenerative braking. Products equipped with such features in India are offered tax incentives by the government, as seen in Maruti's SHVS system in the Ciaz.
