Honda Civic RS Turbo Modulo launched in Philippines

Honda has launched the Honda Civic Modulo in Philippines as a sportier variant of the 2016 Honda Civic sedan. The Honda Civic Modulo is available in three grades: 1.8 E CVT Modulo, RS Turbo Modulo and RS Turbo Modulo Sport.

The 2016 Honda Civic Modulo has only styling changes, majorly on the outside.

The Honda Civic Modulo is distinguished with Modulo genuine accessories for the exterior and interior of the car. On the outside, the Civic Modulo features a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, rear under spoiler, exhaust pipe finisher (1 pair for the RS Turbo Modulo and RS Turbo Modulo Sport variants), and a Modulo emblem as standard.

The 1.8 E CVT Modulo grade also benefits from Deck Lid Spoiler, while the RS Turbo Modulo Sport grade is further distinguished with 17-inch matte black Modulo alloy wheels. Inside, the Civic Modulo is equipped with a Side Step Garnish.

The Honda Civic RS Turbo Modulo and Honda Civic RS Turbo Modulo Sport are powered by the 1.5-litre VTEC TURBO turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 127 kW (173 PS/170.24 hp) and 220 Nm of torque. The Honda Civic 1.8 E CVT Modulo features the base 1.8-litre i-VTEC naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that delivers 104 kW (141 PS/139.41 hp) and 174 Nm of torque. Both engines channel power to the wheels via a continuously variable transmission.
