Yamaha R25 rival set for October 2016 launch.

The production Honda CBR250RR allegedly leaked over the web earlier this month, but not much was revealed as the picture appeared to be a teaser. Now, Indonesian publication ringpiston.com has published what is claimed as the image of the Honda CBR250RR's dual outlet exhaust system.

The Honda CBR250RR will be the production version of the Honda Lightweight Supersports Concept that was unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show. It is reported to be powered by a 37 hp 250 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine which will channel power via a 6-speed transmission.

The engine is said to incorporate Ride-by-Wire system that opens speculation for features like cruise control and multiple driving modes. Other expected features include LED headlamps, LED taillamps, an upside-down fork, clip-on handlebars, monoshock rear suspension, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and a fully digital instrument-panel.
