Rushlane has posted new spyshots of the Tata Hexa testing on the NH4 highway, ahead of its expected launch in June 2016.

With equipment such as ESP (electronic stability program), projector headlamps with auto function, taillamps with LED position lamps, diamond-cut alloy wheels, 6-seat configuration with captain seats, infotainment system, leather upholstery with twin-needle stitching, mood lighting and 6 airbags, the Tata Hexa will be the most feature packed product in their lineup.

The Hexa could pack a sub-2.0L diesel engine, which could be a re-engineered version of the 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine.

In response to the ban on 2.0L and above diesel engines in Delhi NCR, the Hexa could pack a sub-2.0L diesel engine, which could be a re-engineered version of the 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox will be standard, while a 6-speed automatic was seen in the Hexa Tuff at the Auto Expo 2016. The Hexa also features a Drive Mode selector that offers four driving modes: Automatic, Comfort, Dynamic and Rough-Road.
