Prices to be officially announced today.
Overdrive reports that the Maruti Vitara Brezza will be priced from INR 5.8 Lakhs for the base LDi grade to INR 8.4 Lakhs for the top-end ZDi+ grade. This was divulged to the publication by a source close to its development.
Despite its price announcement taking place today, deliveries of the Maruti Vitara Brezza will begin from March 21, reportedly. Bookings for the compact SUV started last month for a deposit of INR 21,000.
The Vitara Brezza is available in six grades: LDi, LDi(O), VDi, VDi(O), ZDi and ZDi+. Some of the features found in the top-end grades include SmartPlay infotainment system, inbuilt navigation, reverse parking camera, engine starter button, cruise control, 60:40 split rear seat, projector headlights with LED DRLs and automatic headlights.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.3-liter DDiS four cylinder engine, which outputs 90 PS at 4,000 rpm and 200 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. The only transmission option is a 5-speed manual gearbox, while an AMT is being considered. A recent brochure leak has revealed that the fuel consumption is rated at 24.3 km/l (ARAI-certified), which is a class-leading figure.
