2016 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo teased, to launch on March 23 – Thailand

Toyota Motor Thailand has released a video teaser of the 2016 Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo variant starring Katy Perry. The accessorized Yaris will be launched at the Bangkok Motor Show on March 23.

The standard price of the Toyta Yaris TRD is THB 585,000 (INR 11.20 lakhs) and the Special Accessories package is priced at THB 64,000 (INR 1.22 lakhs).

The standard price of the Yaris TRD is THB 585,000 and the Special Accessories package is priced at THB 64,000.

The standard fittings include black front grille, piano black shift base, front seat-back pocket on both driver and passenger seats, analog meter with ECO meter, remote key and high-mount stop lamp. The special add-ons include LED DRLs, front fog lamps, front, side and rear skirts, reverse parking camera, roof rack, new polished alloy wheel design.

Inside it gets black and orange perforated leather and synthetic leather seat upholstery with TRD Sportivo emblem, floor Mat with TRD Sportivo emblem, orange hydrographic instrument cluster, and 2-DIN DVD/CD/MP3/MP4/WMA music system with 7-inch touchscreen LED display, USB/Micro HDMI/SD-Card/Bluetooth connectivity and T-Connect compatibility.

The Sportivo is powered by the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder Dual VVT-i engine that produces 86 PS at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

There is no mechanical change to the Toyota Yaris TRD Sportivo. It is powered by the 3NR-FE 1.2-litre four-cylinder Dual VVT-i engine with EFI, DOHC and 16 valves that is mated to a Super CVT-i with Shift Lock. The motor produces 86 PS at 6,000 rpm and 108 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
