A market launch could be imminent.
The tenth generation 2016 Honda Civic has been spotted undisguised in Indonesia. It appears to be photographed in the middle of a local commercial shoot, suggesting that a launch is imminent.
The engine lineup is likely to be similar to the one available in the Thai-spec Honda Civic, which includes a 1.8-litre i-VTEC engine producing 141 hp and 174 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre turbo engine developed under Earth Dreams Technology, good for 173 hp and 220 Nm of torque.
The model being used in the commercial seems to be the top-end variant with the 1.5 Turbo engine, as seen in the 17 inch 5-spoke alloy wheels and chrome appliqués, which suggests that the Indonesian-spec Civic will not get the RS bodykit featured in the Thai-spec model.
