Expected to launch in the coming weeks.

A test mule of the TVS Apache 200 has been snapped up-close in Chennai by Automobile Tamilan. The spyshots reveal the differences between the Indian and the export versions, chiefly the Indonesian model.

The TVS Apache 200 is believed to be powered by a 200 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with an oil-cooler.

Based on recent spyshots taken in Indonesia, the nation's local publications reported that the Apache 200 is likely to be launched in two or three variants with the third one possibly being a special edition. At least one of these variants is expected to be offered with Pirelli tyres while the standard option would be the IRC Road Winner. The latest spyshots of the Apache 200 taken in India reveal that the model is shod with TVS tyres.

In Indonesia, two prototypes of the Apache 200 are often snapped testing together. The most notable difference between the two models is their handlebar. One has a traditional, single-piece tube while the other features clip-on/split handlebars.

The Indian and Indonesian TVS Apache 200 seem to have some contrasting specifications.

The Apache 200 trial models that have been snapped in India thus far featured only the conventional handlebar setup. Hence the export version can be expected to have substantial differences in specifications compared to the Indian model.
