Launches on January 15.
RushLane has posted a picture that reveals a white coloured Mahindra KUV100 from a yard ahead of its launch on January 15. Bookings were officially opened last month.
Marketed as a compact SUV for the youth, the KUV100 will compete in the segment that has the Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Celerio, Chevrolet Beat, Hyundai i10, Ford Figo, the upcoming Tata Zica.
The KUV100 will be offered in petrol as well as diesel versions. The former is powered by the new mFalcon G80 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 hp and 114 Nm, while the latter gets the new mFalcon D75 1.2-litre three-cylinder diesel motor that generates 77 hp and 190 Nm torque. Both engines will be offered with a five-speed manual transmission, while an AMT version is believed to be launched at a later stage.

The Mahindra KUV100 will be offered in four main variants - K2, K4, K6 and K8, and will be available in 7 colours. The car gets dual airbags and ABS as standard, while the higher priced versions get EBD, engine immobilizer system, keyless entry, illuminated keyhole, audio system with six speakers, electrically-adjustable ORVMs, follow-me-home head lamps, micro hybrid system, and twin driving modes (power and ECO).
