The Grand Cherokee SRT will slot below the segment that comprises of established European sports SUVs like the Range Rover Sport SC and BMW X5 M.

The company brought the iconic Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT to the event, which, along with the regular Grand Cherokee, will be the product lineup for Jeep India, initially. This was also confirmed via the official India-specific website of the brand.

The Jeep brand will make its debut at the Auto Expo 2016, nearly three years after the first spyshots of the Jeep Wrangler and the pre-facelift Jeep Grand Cherokee surfaced online. The three products that will launch the brand in India will initially be imported into the country via the CBU route, as stated by Mike Manley, Jeep Chief Executive, in an older report.
