Although it is called the Duster Dakar edition, it doesn't feature off-road centric upgrades from the actual Duster Dakar racer.

For instance, the front door has a sticker of the Dakar Rally logo, while the lower portion of the two doors has a long sticker that depict the Dakar Rally map. It rides on 16 " diamond cut alloy wheels with black glossy finish, and has black plastic bumper extensions. The only colors available for the Dakar edition are white neige, silver étoile, nacre black and brown safari.

Based on the Dynamique variant, the interior is equipped with parking sensors, electric mirrors, 7-inch MEDIANAV touchscreen featuring GPS with traffic information in real time for some cities, Eco Coaching and Eco Scoring (for assessing fuel consumption), audio sytem with 4 speakers, aux and USB input, and Bluetooth connectivity.
