The Scrambler Sixty2 gets an all-new 399cc engine.

Ducati has unveiled seven new models for the 2016 lineup during its press event on the eve of EICMA 2015 in Milan. They are the Scrambler Sixty2, the Scrambler Flat Track Pro, the 959 Panigale, the XDiavel, the Hypermotard, the Multistrada Pikes Peak and the Multistrada 1200 Enduro. Three of them, the Scrambler Sixty2, the Scrambler Flat Track Pro and the Multistrada Enduro, are briefed here.

Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 400 at EICMA 2015

What used to be referred to as the Ducati Scrambler 400 has been unveiled as the Ducati Scrambler Sixty2. It is powered by an all-new 399 cc L-Twin desmodromic air-cooled engine that produces 41 PS and 34 Nm, and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The new entry-level Ducati features a Showa 41 mm fork, a steel tube swingarm, a 14-litre stainless steel fuel tank and a black exhaust shield. The model has a dry weight of 167 kg.

The Scrambler Sixty2 is priced from £6,450 (INR 4.55 lakhs or USD 6,900). Its colour options include Ocean Grey, Chignon Black and Atomic Tangerine.

Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro

The Scrambler Flat Track Pro is a made-over model of the existing Scrambler 800. It features the same powertrain but different cosmetic elements like a unique headlight cowl, a different livery on yellow based fuel tank, aluminium rear view mirrors, alloy wheels with yellow rim-tapes, CNC-machined foot-pegs, CNC-machined chain sprocket cover, a full throttle exhaust, a side-mounted number plate and a special seat upholstery. It is priced at £8,995 (INR 6.34 lakhs or USD 9,616).

Ducati Multistrada Enduro

The new Multistrada Enduro features a larger front fender, a new suspension system with a longer wheel travel, a more rugged bodywork, aluminium side covers, 205 mm ground clearance which is 30 mm higher, a taller exhaust outlet, off-road friendly foot pegs, a 30-litre fuel tank providing upto 450 km range, a 19-inch front wheel with a 120/70 tyre, and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 170/60 tyre (both wheels are spoked and are shod with tubeless tyres).
