Small updates to the exterior and interior.

The Range Rover Evoque will be launched in its facelifted avatar today. The 2016 Range Rover Evoque made its debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March this year.

The cosmetic changes are not too drastic, yet improves the dynamic appeal of the crossover. The most noticeable changes are the new LED headlamps and DRLs, which are more angled than the previous design. The Dynamic variant now comes with a honeycomb grille, while all variants have enlarged air intakes in the bumper, which now feature slim LED foglamps on the upper portion. The 5-door model comes standard with vents on the bonnet (previously standard on the 3-door model only).

Similar to the headlamps, the taillights also receive the full LED treatment with a redesigned cluster. The facelift also features a new hands-free function for the tailgate, where the owner can automatically open and close it by waving his/her foot beneath the rear bumper (available on the Euro-spec model).

It's unclear if the facelifted Evoque debuts the new 2.0L Ingenium diesel engine in India. In its home market of the U.K, the all-aluminum four cylinder Ingenium diesel engine is available in two variants: 180 PS or 150 PS, the latter being 18 percent more efficient than the previous Ford-sourced diesel unit. Transmission options haven’t been confirmed yet, although it will most likely keep the 9-speed ZF unit from the previous model.
