The Suzuki Gixxer SF features an ‘aerodynamic fairing’ for a sportier, MotoGP-inspired design. Apparently, Suzuki claims that the Gixxer SF’s panels were developed in the same wind tunnel used for their performance bikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa, GSX-R and MotoGP machines.

It measures 2,050 mm long, 785 mm in wide, 1,085 mm high and has a wheelbase of 1,330 mm. It comes equipped with a 12 liter tank, has a 160 mm ground clearance, and weighs 139 kg, which is 4 kg more than the regular Gixxer. Exterior colors include Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Triton Blue.

While it has the looks of a performance bike, the engine is sourced from the regular Gixxer. It packs the same 154.9 cc air-cooled, carburetor-fed, single-cylinder engine capable of 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It is paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Gixxer SF has a telescopic fork in the front and 7-step adjustable monoshock at the rear. For braking, the Gixxer SF relies on a single disc up front and a drum brake for the rear wheel.

Other salient features include maintenance free 12V, 3Ah battery, an LED taillight, clear lens indicators, a digital instrument console with gear shift indicator and a twin exhaust system.
