The production-spec Kicks will not differ much from the study.

The Nissan Kicks Concept made its debut at the 2014 Sao Paulo International Motor Show. Now, R.M Design has rendered what looks like the production-spec vehicle. Though RM calls this the new Juke, it is more realistic for the next generation of that crossover to be influenced by the latest Gripz concept.

The Nissan Kicks will be based on the V-Platform and will premiere at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next August, said a report.

As per a recent report, the production specification will look very close to the concept, as suggested by the unofficial rendering. The face receives swept-back projector headlights and the signature V-Motion grille. The bumper gets the addition of fog lamps with a LED strip above, connected by a silver trim.

The rising beltline and floating C-pillar are some of the defining characteristics of the render.

The bold wheel arches are surrounded by body cladding, while a striking shoulder line, blackened C-pillar and a floating roof are carried over from the concept. It also comes with a roof spoiler and twin redesigned exhausts accommodated in the bumper.

The concept was designed with inputs from Nissan Design America (NDA) in San Diego, US, and Nissan Design America Rio (NDA-R) located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was 4,300 mm long, 1,800 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,620mm. A report in July said that the V-Platform based crossover would be unveiled at the Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, followed by a more recent claim that it would be produced at Nissan's Mexican plant.
