Unlike most sub-4m crossovers of today, the Mahindra TUV300 adopts an old-school boxy SUV styling that will appeal to a true SUV enthusiast. As seen in undisguised spyshots, it gets a Jeep-inspired grille with chrome-inserts, large swept-back headlamps, square-shaped intake and fog lamp enclosures, 15 inch alloy wheels and a blackened D-Pillar. Also on offer is 5+2 seating, where the third row features small jump seats.

Power will be sourced from a new mHawk 80 diesel engine, which is, reportedly, version of the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder diesel engine in the Mahindra Quanto. It will be paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox or an AMT unit (as seen in spyshots).
