The F-Pace is based on Jaguar’s lightweight aluminium architecture and shares many of its design elements with the C-X17 concept vehicle unveiled at the same venue two years ago. The front gets slim LED headlights and a muscular bonnet while the sides feature 22-inch forged wheels. The rear carries elements of the F-Type sports car such as the powerful haunches, fender vents and distinctive tail light graphics.

The crossover has short overhangs and this coupled with a length of 4,731 mm and wheelbase of 2,874 mm make for a spacious cabin. There is a huge amount of storage space too which is rated at 650 liters.

The cabin is said to be spacious where five adult occupants can be seated in “absolute comfort” with generous knee and head room. Jaguar claims industry-leading infotainment and connectivity with its InControl Touch Pro system that comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen system. The infotainment unit is equipped with a quad-core processor, solid state drive and runs on an Ethernet connection. It also has WiFi hotspot support for eight devices simultaneously. The navigation system displays information in 3D on the 12.3-inch HD instrument cluster.
