Honda has unveiled the Civic Tourer Active Life Concept at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. Its target base are cyclists who need a vehicle to transport their bikes.

The exterior boasts of an extendable roof rack, custom metallic blue paint, silver roof, 18-inch alloys and new design rear bumper.

The interiors gets an all-black theme and sporty-looking black roof lining. The black cabin is contrasted with blue accents seen on the dashboard along with blue stitching used on the steering wheel and gear knob. The seats get a mix of suede and leather as well as a carbon tape running along the center; the seats also receive blue stitching and piping.

This concept is custom made for bikers and can carry bikes either on the extendable roof rack or inside the trunk, which has a generous 1,668 liters of cargo capacity. The trunk has a low loading lip and smart rack with a retractable arm that can carry two bicycles. There are several accessories fitted to the concept such as integrated air pump, a large light located on the tailgate, an extended shade area, retractable bench, toolbox, bottle holder, water tank and a front wheel holder. A special aero-shape roof box is also attached to carry essential cycling accessories such as shoes and helmets.

There are no details given on the engine yet, but the Active Life Concept is likely to have a 1.6-liter i-DTEC turbo-diesel engine that recently set the Guinness World Record for fuel efficiency averaging 100.31 mpg (42.64 kpl) over a 13,498 kilometer journey.
