The Mercedes-AMG S63 packs a 5.5-liter hand-built V8 Biturbo engine capable of 585 bhp and 900 Nm of torque. It is paired to an AMG 7-speed SPEEDSHIFT gearbox, which sends torque to the rear wheels.

One of the headline features of the new Mercedes-AMG S63 is the Magic Body Control, which uses two stereoscopic cameras at the front for detecting speed bumps and potholes, and actively adjusts the air suspension stiffness rate for maintaining comfort levels throughout the drive.

With respect to exterior design, the Mercedes-AMG S63 features an exclusive AMG body kit, which isn't as aggressive as other AMGs offered today. Characteristic features include larger air intakes, AMG composite brakes, lightweight forged 19 inch alloy wheels and a quad exhaust system.

Inside, the design largely identical to the standard Mercedes S Class, save for small AMG touches, performance-themed leather upholstery, drilled pedals, and carbon-fiber interior trim. What's interesting to note is that the 2015 Mercedes-AMG S63 is equipped with the AMG flat bottom steering wheel, unlike the standard 2-spoke S Class steering that was initially offered
