Will only be available at 'Wing World' dealers.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd. (HMSI) will not be offering the Honda CBR650F through its standard dealerships. Instead, this bike will be retailed through the sales-service shop-in-shop network of elite ‘Wing World’ dealerships spanning 12 cities (New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kochi, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar).

The CBR650F is powered by a 649cc four-cylinder engine which makes 87 PS at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 63 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

HMSI last month confirmed that it will launch the Honda CBR650F at the ‘Honda RevFest’ event it has organized on August 4, and bookings for the sports bike has officially begun.

‘RevFest’ will be held at eight cities simultaneously namely – New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Indore and Ahmedabad. The company has also said that it will be launching more than one model at the event; we believe that bikes with capacities ranging from 150-650 cc will be introduced.

Shedding more light on the occasion Keita Muramatsu, President and CEO, HMSI said, “Revfest will be the stage where Honda along with its flagship “Make in India” model CBR 650F will introduce not one… but many more new motorcycles.”

Though locally assembled, HMSI is believed to be building just 2 units of the CBR650F per day, and plans to launch the middle-weight motorcycle in just one colour.

The CBR650F is powered by a 649cc, four-stroke, 4-cylinder DOHC engine generating 87 bhp of peak power at 11,000 rpm and peak torque of 62 Nm at 8,000 rpm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six-speed gearbox.

The CBR650F endorses the government’s ‘Make In India’ campaign and is already being locally assembled, albeit with a small localization level, at Honda’s plant in Manesar.
