Not-for-India 2015 Toyota Avanza (Facelift) – Rendering
Aravind Jayachandran, I'm a huge petrolhead, an automobile engineer, a massive fan of Ferrari, and loves collecting die-cast models for inspiration.
Features cosmetic upgrades.
Based on leaked images of the facelifted 2015 Toyota Avanza, Raditya Brahmanah has rendered the new MPV for Autonetmagz, which gives us a better look at the facelifted model.
At first glance, changes seen are the redesigned swept-back headlights that flow into a larger grille (which seem to have been inspired by the new Honda Odyssey), as well as a new front bumper. The side profile will be largely identical and the rear gets updated taillamps with new reflectors, and longer chrome bar that connects the reflectors.
The Avanza facelift may retain the same engine lineup offered for the current model, which includes a 1.3- and 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT-i engines paired to either a manual or automatic transmissions. The 1.3-liter engine develops 92 PS and 119 Nm of torque while the 1.5-liter unit produces 104 PS and 139 Nm of torque.
The Toyota Avanza is one of Indonesia’s top five selling models. The Avanza-based Daihatsu Xenia will also undergo a facelift, which is expected to arrive by the end of 2015.
