Features minor design changes and equipment upgrades.

Hyundai Motor have launched the facelifted Hyundai Santa Fe Prime in Korea, priced from 28.17 million Won to 36.33 million Won (INR 16.14 lakhs to INR 20.82 lakhs). An Indian debut is expected to take place not anytime soon, but when it does, it will continue to be brought into the country via the CKD route.

The 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe continues to draw influence from the Storm Edge design language, but features an improved design for a sportier stance. Design updates include revised chrome slats in the 6-point grille, Tucson-inspired exhaust tips, new front and rear bumpers new alloy wheel designs.

It also gets new fog lamps enclosed by chrome fixtures, black plastic elements in the headlamps, and an updated cluster design for the LED taillights.

Power for the Santa Fe Prime comes from the same choice of 2.0- and 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engines which have been revised for lower CO2 emissions, improved engine response, and reduced vibrations especially during a cold start. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and automatic units that send torque to an electronic AWD system.
