2015 Toyota Camry (facelift) launched in India at INR 28.8 Lakhs - IAB Report

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the facelifted Camry in India, offering a choice between a petrol or a petrol-hybrid. The official prices (ex-showroom Delhi) are:

  • Toyota Camry Petrol – INR 28,80,000
  • Toyota Camry Hybrid – INR 31,92,000

On the exterior front, the 2015 Toyota Camry sports a sporty and appealing design.

On the exterior front, the 2015 Toyota Camry sports an aggressive front end featuring a redesigned front bumper with a bigger central air intake, slimmer grille flanked by new headlamps housing LED daytime running lights. The hybrid variant gets a new grille pattern and turn indicators on the small intakes. The rear features a chrome bar running through the taillights. Higher variants will come with LED taillights.

Inside, the facelifted Camry comes with a levy of new tech upgrades such as a three-zone climate control air conditioning, and power-adjustable rear seats.

Power is sourced from the same 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 181 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and 233 Nm of torque at 4,100 rpm. It comes paired to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission.

The hybrid version delivers 205 PS and 451 Nm of torque, and transfers power through an electronically controlled CVT. It returns a fuel efficiency figure of 19.16 km/l with corresponding CO2 emission of 122.8 g/km.
