The Lodgy is likely to be showcased at this year's Indonesia Motor Show.

The Renault Lodgy will go on sale in India tomorrow (April 9, 2015), and will rival MPVs like the Toyota Innova, Maruti Ertiga and the Honda Mobilio. The Lodgy's rivals are also on sale in the Indonesian market which is more tuned towards the MPV bodystyle. As a result, Renault, which relaunched itself in Indonesia in 2013, is keen on adding the Lodgy to its portfolio.

For the Indian market, the Lodgy will be offered with the 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine.

The French car maker currently sells the Duster, Megane and Koleos in the Indonesian market. The Duster is exported from Renault-Nissan's Alliance plant in Chennai, India, and is sold with the 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine. If launched, the Lodgy too will be exported from Renault India's plant, which has already started manufacturing the MPV.

Serge Yoccoz, Director of Operations ASEAN-Renault, told Otonity that the Lodgy could be showcased at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2015) which is scheduled to take place in August this year. However, the executive did not confirm a launch timeframe.
