The Figo Aspire (car in red) is expected to launch before the hatchback.

The Ka+ is unlikely to launch in India, as Ford India sells the Fiesta in that segment. Developed keeping in mind the Indian market is the sub-4 meter version of the sedan, which is likely to launch before the hatchback.

Both, the Figo Aspire sedan and the new Figo hatch, will be made at Ford India's new facility in Sanand, Gujarat. Reports state that this facility will be inaugurated later this month.

Power for the Figo Aspire, according to sources, will come from a 1.2-liter TiVCT petrol engine, developing about 80 PS, and a recalibrated version of the 1.5-liter diesel engine seen in the Fiesta and EcoSport.
