World debut expected in Asia this year.

Just a couple of days after the front-end of the new 2016 Toyota Fortuner was leaked by a Thai website, fully revealing images of the new SUV have surfaced on Fly-Wheel.

As these images show, the front fascia is not the only part which sports a revolutionary design language but the entire car features a design which breaks the mould of the current vehicle. While the door panels are free of surface creases, the window line bears an interesting upward kink and ends at a quirky rear window.

Designers have carved out generous wheel arches for the new Fortuner, while adding subtle cladding over them.

The front end of the new Fortuner subscribes to a Lexus-esque design, which according to a report, would help in the premium positioning of the SUV and help differentiate it from its pick-up sibling, the Hilux.
