LED taillights and a new Satin Gray color are the only changes on the outside.

Inside, the SUV gets a Piano Black treatment for the dashboard, centre console, and steering wheel, and improved sound deadening.

For the Thai market, GM sells the Trailblazer with a 2.5-liter inline diesel engine capable of 163 hp at 3,600 rpm and 380 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm, and a 2.8-liter inline diesel developing 200 hp at 3,600 rpm and 500 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm.

The lesser powerful engine is paired to a 6-speed manual while the 2.8-liter gets a 6-speed automatic. Save for the top-end variant with the 2.8-liter engine, all other variants are 2WD only.

This is more like it. All GM needs to do is sell all trim levels. I don’t understand why they are selling the higher end cars only in LT or LTZ trims. Sell the Trailblazer in LS, LT and LTZ trims for 16, 19 and 22 lakhs with the 6 speed manual and maybe 1 lakh more for the auto and another lakh for the 4WD. They will eat Toyota’s lunch money with this strategy.

    Imagine a lineup like this.

    Trailblazer 2.5 LS Manual 2WD: 16L
    Trailblazer 2.5 LS Manual 4WD: 17L
    Trailblazer 2.5 LS Auto 2WD: 17L
    Trailblazer 2.5 LS Auto 4WD: 18L

** LS Features: Leatherette Seats, 6 Airbags, ABS/EBD, Reverse Camera, Parking Sensor, 16 inch wheels

    Trailblazer 2.8 LT Manual 2WD: 19L
    Trailblazer 2.8 LT Manual 4WD: 20L
    Trailblazer 2.8 LT Auto 2WD: 20L
    Trailblazer 2.8 LT Auto 4WD: 21L
** LT Features: Leather Seats, Bigger Engine, LED Lights, Powered Seats, Power Folding Mirrors, Sunroof, 17 inch wheels

    Trailblazer 2.8 LTZ Auto 2WD: 22L
    Trailblazer 2.8 LTZ Auto 4WD: 23L
** LTZ Features: Premium Leather Seats, Leather Dashboard, Panoramic Moonroof, 18 inch wheels

Not everyone needs a sunroof. leather seats, power seats etc.
GM, Are you listening. Do you want to be an also ran or grab Toyota by the throat.
