Report - Toyota Etios & Liva facelift's complete details revealed; Launch today

The Etios range will offer dual front airbags as standard. 

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) will launch the refreshed Etios and Liva today, according to many reports on the internet. The updated cars have already reached certain dealerships for demo purposes. Here are the list of changes that will be seen.

Toyota Etios facelift grille
Both cars get a new grille element, which happens to be the only change on the exterior.

Toyota Etios Liva Facelift:

  1. New grille element
  2. Driver and front passenger airbags standard across the range
  3. Larger LCD display with a clock for the instrument cluster on all variants except the base J/JD
  4. Top-end VX/VXD gets electrically adjustable wing mirrors, reverse parking sensors, new finish for the armrests

Toyota Etios Sedan Facelift:

Toyota will join the ranks of VW by offering dual front airbags as standard across the range.

  1. New grille element
  2. Driver and front passenger airbags standard across the range
  3. Larger LCD display with a clock for the instrument cluster, and new fabric seats on all variants except the base J/JD
  4. Top-end VX/VXD gets electrically adjustable wing mirrors, reverse parking sensors, faux-wood finish for the armrests, new pearl white color and a full chrome grille

Engines:

There are no changes to the engines or gearboxes of the Etios and Etios Liva. However, according to this dealership training guide, the 1.5-liter petrol engine will no longer be offered on the Liva (its currently offered as the Liva TRD Sportivo).
