Minor changes aim to keep India's most popular hatchback a favorite among buyers.

The Maruti Swift will soon head for a facelift, as the updated car was spotted in India recently. Globally, Suzuki released the minor update for the Swift last year which saw few exterior and feature changes. Here's a pictorial comparison of the two versions.

The LED daytime running lights is the major change on the outside.

On the outside, the refreshed Swift can be easily identified thanks to its LED daytime running lights located in the foglight enclosures. That apart, Suzuki say the Swift facelift gets a silver detailing on the lower part of the front bumper, a new color dubbed ‘Boost Blue’, and new wheel caps for lower variants. For the Indian model, Maruti may design new alloy wheels for the top-end variants.

New seat fabrics and power folding mirrors will find their way on the refreshed Swift.

Inside, new seat fabrics, power folding wing mirrors, an auto-up function for the driver side power window, automatic headlights, keyless entry with an engine starter button should give the B-segment hatchback something to talk about for the next 3 years of its market life.
