Sub-4 meter S101 to rival popular B-Segment hatchbacks.

The Mahindra S101 (codename) was spotted testing in the high altitude regions of Leh recently by Mr. Tejus, a member of My Fiat World. Mahindra's engineers could be carrying out possible high-altitude or cold weather testing of the small car ahead of its scheduled market launch next year.

The Mahindra S101 is based on an all-new monocoque platform.

Based on an all-new monocoque platform, the S101, according to our sources, will have the footprint of a B-segment hatchback like the Swift, yet the driving experience would be SUV-like. Mahindra aims to achieve this by giving the car a high seating position a relatively high ground clearance, and styling elements like nudge guards.
