Premieres on September 8th.

Jaguar has unveiled yet another teaser video of its BMW 3 Series rival, the Jaguar XE, that doesn't expose much of the car's design, which will borrow cues from the new Jaguars - F-Type, XJ and XF.

Most notable changes are found inside the XE, where it will feature a large 8-inch touchscreen display powered by a new InControl infotainment system. Features include WiFi hotspot functionality and apps specifically designed for the XE. To improve driver convenience, Jaguar has equipped a laser heads up display that puts “sharp, high-contrast color images into driver’s line of sight."

Under the hood, Jaguar will offer new four-cylinder engines from the Ingenium series that will be available in various different capacities and outputs. Also expected is an XE-S variant that is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 Supercharged engine, as well as a 5.0-liter supercharged V8-powered XE R-S. Jaguar hasn't released any official figures of its engine lineup.
