Mid-life facelift for Honda's CR-V will see noticeable external changes.

Honda is gearing up to launch a new CR-V, and according to a report, the American launch of the facelifted crossover would take place this month. Camouflaged test mules were spotted recently, and a spyshot of the interior also gave an idea of what to expect from the car.

The Honda CR-V facelift is likely to make its American premiere this month.

Based on these spy images, our artist, Shoeb, has come out with his rendering of the CR-V facelift. The most prominent change will be the new grille which is inspired by the "Solid Wing Face" design seen on the City and Jazz. The foglight housing too would see a redesign, though the headlights will continue largely unchanged.

Inside, the addition of metallic inserts for the AC vents was the only change noticed in the spy pictures, and the rest of the cabin will carry on unchanged. Mechanically, a report states that Honda will replace the 5-speed automatic transmission with a CVT box. All of this as of today is unverified.
