The Maruti Swift facelift is expected to launch in November.

The Maruti Swift is one of the top selling cars in the country and hence the facelifted car would feature only subtle changes such as a revised front bumper with daytime LED running light strips adorning the foglight enclosures, new alloy wheels and hubcap designs and a mildly revised rear bumper and taillights.

The interior would remain the same save for an enhanced equipment list which could include an LCD display on the centre console for the multimedia infotainment system.

Mechanically the refreshed Swift will continue to be powered by the proven 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine which puts out 87 PS (85.7 bhp) and 114 Nm of torque and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine which generates 75 PS (73.9 bhp) and 190 Nm of torque. The petrol motor will be available with a 5-speed manual and interestingly, ET reports that the diesel engine could be offered with an automatic gearbox in addition to the standard 5-speed manual unit.
