Will be powered by the same 1.2-liter engine.
Indonesia will get its second Datsun model on Wednesday in the form of the Go hatchback. The budget brand first launched the Go+ MPV in Indonesia and is now following up with the launch of the hatchback. An inverse strategy is being followed in India wherein the Go hatchback was launched earlier this year, and the Go+ MPV is announced to be launch later this year during the festive season.
Based on the Micra's platform, the Go will be powered by the 1.2-liter three-cylinder petrol engine which puts out 68 PS (67.04 bhp) and 104 Nm of torque, and will come matched to a 5-speed manual transmission. The variant classification for the Go in Indonesia will be similar to India wherein the trims are called 'D', 'A' and 'T'. The top-end trim in India comes with features such as power steering, front power windows, AC and a mobile docking station.
The hatchback measures 3,785 mm in length, 1,635 mm in width, 1,485 mm in height and 2,450 mm in wheelbase.

In India, Datsun has not received the expected response with the company not managing even 50 percent of targeted volumes. Sales of the Go last month hit an all time low of 800 units.
