The special edition has received two more color themes, both having black as the base color. The new additions to the Inazuma 250Z lineup come with red and blue body decals. The decal on the tank extension forms the letter 'Z'. Another stripe starts from the centre panel and runs all way up to the taillight while the wheels get split stripes matching the body decals.

The Inazuma 250Z is powered by the same 248 cc parallel twin liquid-cooled petrol motor which pumps out 24.1 bhp and 22 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed unit.

The Suzuki Inazuma 250Z commands a premium of 51 UK pounds over the regular variant.

The Suzuki Inazuma 250Z special edition retails at 3,459 UK pounds (around INR 3.55 lakhs) which is 51 pounds (around INR 5,235) dearer than the regular Inazuma 250.

The Suzuki Inazuma 250 entered India in January this year with a hefty price tag of INR 3.1 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). Due to poor buyer response, Suzuki slashed its price by INR 1 lakh in June. In between the launch and the price slash, Suzuki managed to sell only 200 units of the motorcycle.

With the Inazuma 250 getting a lukewarm reception, it won't be a bad idea for Suzuki India to launch the Z special edition around the festival season in a bid to recreate interest in the bike.
