The Fiat Punto facelift (Fiat Punto Evo) has been spied inside out before its launch expected later this month or early next month. The refreshed Punto would lock horns with the VW Polo facelift that is scheduled to launch on July 15 and the next gen Hyundai i20 which is also near its D-Day, apart from the Maruti Swift and Tata Bolt.

Here are the list of 5 things that we already know about the upcoming premium hatchback.

1. Restyled front fascia

The new front fascia is nothing like that of the current car (left).

The Fiat Punto Evo's front fascia is a far cry from that of the aging current model. The new peeled back headlamps and chrome outlined grille were borrowed from its upcoming crossover sibling, the Avventura. The bumper incorporates chrome foglight enclosures and looks similar to the Fiat Viaggio sedan from China.

2. New alloy wheels and revised rear fascia

The ORVMs of the new hatchback integrate turn indicators and there are new alloy wheel designs. Coming to the rear, the combination lamps feature a new design while the rear bumper has a prominent chrome insert and a pair of lamps.

The spyshots have also revealed the interior of the Punto Evo which by the way is lifted from the new Linea. The design and quality of the dashboard is several notches higher than the current car's. The top-end variant gets full black interior theme while the rest of the lineup will come with dual-tone beige-black theme.

4. Rear AC vent on offer

The Fiat Punto Evo is the second hatchback in the country after the Hyundai Grand i10 to offer a rear AC vent (mounted between the front seats). The feature is expected to be available only on the higher variants.

5. Top-of-the-line diesel outputs 90 HP
