The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS has been spotted testing with camouflage on several occasions and this time, a stationary test mule was spied up close by Autopromag.com's reader, Mr. Abhimanyu Thakur.

The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS adopts the Pulsar SS 400's design.

The Pulsar 200 SS looks exactly like the Pulsar SS 400 that was unveiled at the Auto Expo. While the test mule itself doesn't give any clues about its identity, Mr. Thakur claims it to be the smaller model.

The Pulsar 200 SS is essentially a fully faired version of the Pulsar 200 NS naked motorcycle. The 200 cc liquid-cooled single cylinder engine which produces 23.52 PS (23.18 bhp) and 18.3 Nm of torque is expected to be retained. A 6-speed gearbox would be transmitting the power. It remains to be seen whether the faired model will be equipped with fuel-injection system or continue with the 200 NS' carburetor setup.

The 200 cc engine would be derived from the Pulsar 200 NS.

Design highlights of the Pulsar 200 SS include twin projector headlamps, two-piece taillights, LED daytime running lights, split-seats and clip-on handle bars. The instrument console is lifted off from the Pulsar 200 NS.

The Pulsar 200 SS was spotted at a dealership a couple of months ago without any camouflage but Bajaj has decided to make the prospective customers wait a little longer. As of now, the two-wheeler maker is busy in launching the new Discover 150 S and 150 F twins which would be followed by the KTM RC duo. The fully faired Pulsars are expected to be launched before the end of this year.
