The Wagon R in Indonesia is powered by the same three-cylinder 1.0-liter K-Series engine which produces 68 PS and 90 Nm of torque, matched to a 5-speed manual gearbox. In fact, the car sold in Indonesia is identical to the Indian model in terms of looks and powertrain. The Wagon R, thanks to its fuel efficiency of 20 km/l+, is classified as a LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) in Indonesia, which gives it tax benefits.

Suzuki makes the Wagon R at its facility in Tambun, Indonesia, for domestic and export demand. The factory commenced exports of the Wagon R to Pakistan today, and would initially export 1,2000 units/month and later 1,500 units/month.
