The 2015 Mercedes CLS and CLS Shooting Brake have been unveiled recently and here are a set of official videos that show the cars in action.
The CLS Coupe and the Shooting Brake are bestowed with full LED headlights as standard and Multibeam LED headlights as optional features. The Multibeam headlight system consists of 24 LED elements per headlight which can be individually controlled to arrive at optimum illumination for the given road condition without dazzling the oncoming traffic. The system gets its input from a windshield mounted camera.

Apart from the new hi-tech headlamp system, the refreshed CLS lineup can be identified by revised front grille and bumpers. Interior upgrades include new steering wheel, centre display and reduced number of buttons on the centre console.

Five engines are on offer, the least powerful of which is a new four-cylinder diesel engined CLS 220 CDI. The CLS 63 AMG powered by 5.5-litre V8 Bi-Turbo petrol produces up to 585 hp. The higher variants are equipped with a new 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission while the rest employ a 7-speed AT.
