Honda had said earlier that series production would be underway in the July-September period.

Spied here is the 'V' variant, that identifies the penultimate variant on the Brio/Amaze/City. Cars from the pilot production are generally utilized for the pre-launch media drive and marketing activities.

The Mobilio was unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo in Greater Noida in February. The Ertiga rival will be launched with a 1.5-liter i-DTEC engine that delivers over 25 kmpl and 100 PS of power on the Amaze and City that it already services. A top Honda official had also said that the variant lineup would be similar to other Honda cars: petrol manual, petrol AT and diesel manual.
