Suzuki is showing two versions of the Celerio, a standard manual variant and one with plastic cladding on the sides and wheel arches sporting an AMT gearbox. The interior is a replica of the Maruti version, except for the LHD configuration and an all-black dashboard (the Indian model is a two-tone beige). We also notice the graphics on the door and seat trims are different.

AMT is confirmed for the European market.

In India the Celerio is powered by a 998 cc three-cylinder engine (codenamed K10B) which sends out 68 PS at 6,000 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. It is mated either to a 5-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission (AMT).

While power and torque figures haven't been updated for the European model, Suzuki calls the European engine as the 'K10C' and has confirmed a start-stop system for it.

The Celerio replaces the Alto (A-Star) in Europe and like its predecessor, it may also be exported from Maruti's factory in Gurgaon.
