The Ghost Series II will go on sale in the UK by the middle of this year, while the Indian launch will take place before November 2014, a source informs Indian Autos Blog. There are no mechanical changes to the engine of the Ghost Series II which is still powered by a 6.6-liter V12 motor producing 563 bhp and 780 Nm of torque.

The Ghost Series II accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds while the top-speed is limited to 250 km/h. Rolls-Royce have updated the transmission pairing it to the satellite system. The transmission is thus able to pre-select gears based on the type of road ahead. This technology was first seen on the Rolls-Royce Wraith.

The V-Spec Ghost produces an additional 30 bhp of power from its 6.6-liter V12 engine.
