Nissan unveiled the new Nissan Juke facelift at the Geneva Motor Show. Apart from some exterior and interior changes, the Juke also gets revised powertrain options.

Optically, reshaped LED daytime running lights, a revised front bumper, revised tail lights, new alloy wheels and paint schemes are central to the facelift.

Three engines are available for the new Juke, with one new petrol engine and another being extensively revised. The diesel engine is the existing 1.5-liter K9K dCi engine that makes 110 hp.

The new petrol engine is a downsized turbocharged direct injection 1.2-liter DIG-T engine - replacing the outgoing 1.6-liter naturally aspirated unit - making 115 hp and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine is lighter and gets automatic stop/start as standard.

The existing 1.6-liter DIG-T petrol unit has been revised to deliver, says Nissan, low end torque from below 2,000 rpm. The engine now makes 188 hp.

Along with a 6-speed manual transmission, the new Juke 1.6 DIG-T 4WD is optionally available with a new Xtronic (CVT) transmission.
