As the video shows, Tata is marketing the Twist as an ideal city commuter, and targets to sell the car to women drivers and elderly people. The electric power steering unit on the Twist was developed by Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen. This EPS unit uses a brushless motor and features the same steering ratio as the non-power steering version of the Nano.

Tata has also made some interior changes on the Twist. The instrument cluster is redesigned and gets LED gauges indicating the amount of fuel and temperature of the engine, while the speedometer receives a new font style for a fresher look.

On the outside, the Twist is available in a new body color dubbed 'Damson Purple'. Mechanically though, the Twist retains the Nano's 624 cc twin-cylinder engine which outputs 38 PS and 51 Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by a 4-speed gearbox.

The Twist is available in a single top-end trim called XT. It is priced at INR 2.36 lakhs ex-Showroom, New Delhi.
