Base model does not even get front power windows or internally adjustable side mirrors. Only Maruti is excused in India for not giving these basic features.

Launching a new car at this era without airbags? Is this Nano competitor?

The government should make air bags, ABS as compulsory for all cars. When sold in large numbers, price of these components also will come down. Safety should be considered seriously.

    • Sushrut

Govt. does not even have crash testing norms set for auto OEMs. Thats the reason why M800, Alto800 & K10 continue to sell. But isn’t it a part of good business governance to give such safety features? But I guess Maruti is more worried about their top line margins than this. Not only Maruti, most of the OEMs are in same boat.

  • Dhananjayan

This is of course VFM, but there should be atleast driver airbag.

  • Gaurav

I know I know maruti is a very price consitious compamy so are its customers but atleast offer the airbags as option.

  • Pradeep

    No Airbags anywhere? Joke?
