Indian Autos Blog reader, Toldi, is back with another spy video. This time, our reader has taped the estate version of the 2015 Mercedes-Benz C Class. The camouflaged estate was spotted testing in Böblingen near Stuttgart, Germany.
The 2015 C Class sedan will have its public premiere at the Detroit Motor Show next week. Based on the sedan, the estate variant of the new C Class will appeal to families as a practical all-rounder with its large boot.

Like the sedan, the estate will also be based on the new MRA (Mercedes Rear wheel Architecture) platform, while the body of the car will use an aluminium hybrid mixture. Thanks to increased use of aluminium, the weight of the new C Class sedan has dropped by 100 kg compared to its predecessor.

Powering the C Class estate would be the same range of engines announced for the C Class sedan, with an AMG model also figuring in the list. Early reports indicate that the 2015 C Class estate would be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
Apart from the C Class estate, Mercedes is also working on an estate based on the CLA.
