The Suzuki Inazuma GW250 will launch in India next month.

As we have reported in the past, Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited (SMIL) will launch the motorcycle in January next year. The GW250 will compete with the likes of the KTM Duke 200, Honda CBR250R, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar and Mahindra Mojo. SMIL will assemble the bike out of CKD (Completely Knocked Down) kits at its Gurgaon plant.

Power for the Inazuma GW250 is sourced from a fuel-injected, parallel twin engine displacing 248 cc and producing 26 bhp and 24.4 Nm of torque. The drive is transmitted via a 6-speed gearbox. Suzuki offers the GW250 with front and rear disc brakes as standard. We can also observe from the first image that the GW250 will get three-spoke aluminium wheels.

The Inazuma is based on a semi double-cradle chassis, and features telescopic forks at the front and mono-shocks at the rear with seven-way adjustable springs. Previous spyshots have also shown that the GW250 will get an analogue rev counter while the speedometer will be housed in a LCD screen. The LCD will also feature a twin trip meter, while a service interval reminder will also be offered.
